The food was fantastic, I regret not having the massive Creme Brulee. Bread was utterly delicious. I had the steak tartare and the duck.I was greeted at the carpark by a cheerful waitress. This hospitality continued with a French waitress who was impeccably polite and helpful during service.Lost a star for service because of a passive aggressive attitude (i felt) by one of the male waiter, who on another occassion also completely ignored me even with eye contact when I needed something. At any cafe that be fine and I will shrug it off, but not at a fine dining restaurantAtmosphere loss two stars because their aircon was either off or struggling in the 34 degree heat. They need to add more units, not pleasant when your trying to enjoy lunch by sweltering. As a tip sit towards the toilets as there is a separate aircon unit.But can not complain at all about the food or the main waiter that mainly served us

Second time here. Decided rather spontaneously to treat myself to a birthday dinner. Called to book only on the day itself and they did their best to squeeze me in. Amazing service, staff was wonderfully attentive despite it being so busy. Food was delicious and served at impeccable timing; I did have a slight issue with one dish- told the waiter discreetly and it was rectified immediately. All in all, wonderful evening. Thank you!

Fun, family-friendly and authentic French restaurant. The event room which is separate from the main dining and seating area was nicely cordoned off, private and beautifully decorated. We had the set menu that consisted of various entree options, main meals followed by cheese platters before the birthday cake. Coffee was served after if desired as a nice finishing touch to the evening.

Surely this is the BEST restaurant in Perth?! The food and service are both extraordinary. Even the bread is amazing. I cannot find enough superlatives for how outstanding it is. And the prices are extremely reasonable, especially when you consider how much cafes and pubs are charging these days. It is also an extremely welcoming environment.

The night began with friendly greeting at the car park and on entry then a huge down turn. I requested for a few more minutes before ordering as my husband was in the bathroom. That request ended up being forever as waiter never returned. I’ve even caught the attention of one waiter who nodded at me but he never came back either. After another 35 mins of waiting at the table, I was fed up so made my way to the bar myself and requested to speak to the manager but the bar attendant asked if he could assist so I explained the situation. The bar attendant had to personally come to our table to take our order. The dishes throughout the degustation menu was ok, although beautifully presented but nothing fancy in flavours. My husband and I both thought the flavours were lacking the oomph to really please our tastebuds. The services throughout the rest of the evening was much better and we were well looked after by James who was so pleasant and helpful. Personally, to be paying for this degustation price, I do expect top services all the way through and not what we had to experience in the beginning especially for a birthday celebration which I’ve mentioned in the booking.

Lovely ambience, the mildly lit rooms and the french influenced backdrop / wallpapers were a nice welcome.Food was great too, the Escargots de Bourgogne was fun and interesting, very buttery and earthy! The Beef filet sauce au poivre was divine - soft, juicy and a pleasute.Service was top notch! Filled me up with those freshly baked bread and creamy butter! Lol

I have been wanting to go here for a long time and I wasn't disappointed. My partner and I had a lovely time. I had the escargot and baguette with creamy butter for an entree. For main I had the steak tartare and my partner had the beef dish. This was all amazing but I have to say the best of all was the little cup of creamy mushroom soup, which they give you as an aperitif to start - delicious!

Food was good but not amazing. Service was poor.Complimentary mini-serve of mushroom soup was the best dish. Bread was fresh out the oven, soft and moist. Rabbit & Mushroom was tender and drizzled in a tasty truffle gravy. Fish of the Day unfortunately was disappointing as the mix of flavours did not blend well and it felt like they just chucked whatever leftovers they had into the dish. For dessert we had the share plates, which was hit and miss - my favourites were the Black Forest and chocolate lava cake; not a fan of the creme brûlée or macaron.Service needed improvement. When we were shown to our table, nobody gave us any menus so after waiting for some time, we had to ask for one but it was difficult to catch attention of the staff. Our bread was swapped for fresh bread whilst we were still eating, which would have been fine if it had been explained but we felt confused as to why our bread was being taken away without saying anything. When it was time for the bill, we ended up waiting a long time for the server to come back and take our payment; this was frustrating as we wanted to leave. Overall the service was pretty disappointing and we had expected better from an expensive place like this.Ambience was OK (nothing special) and would prefer the lighting to be a little brighter as we could not get photos because it was too dark. Some decoration also wouldn’t hurt as the chandeliers and dark curtains makes it look like a sleazy karaoke lounge.I think for the price you are paying there are certain expectations of the place, which was not met on our visit to Chez Pierre.

Not everyday I give 5 stars but this place sure deserves it. The flavours just blended so well together from the entrees through to dessert. You know the food is worth it when your so full but keep going back for more. The service was impeccable and so friendly. Lighting was just a tad dark but still lovely.What a great experience and thank you to the staff for their service.

Food was great, the people we went with loved it. Service was 15/10. Valerie looked after us and she was so attentive to everything we wanted.
